Astrology educator and consultant inspired by western and eastern traditions
Hello. I’m Shu – an Astrologer, Writer and Teacher with a passion for traditional techniques from the Hellenistic, Persian and Arabic periods.
I’ve been a dedicated student of western astrology for nearly 25 years and have trained at the Melbourne School of Astrology (Foundational Modern Psychological) and School of Traditional Astrology (Horary & Medical Astrology).
I’m inspired by all the cosmological perspectives around the world, although much of my practice has been focused on the Western Hermetic philosophy, mainly due to geographical circumstances. I find continual fulfilment in incorporating practices from my Daoist roots and the Vedic philosophy too, especially for astrological remediations.
My life as a grower, regenerative land custodian, mother of three and off-grid homesteader sees my astrological practice as a lifestyle, not just a livelihood.
If you’ve landed here for the first time, here’s how you can connect with my work. I’d love to hear from you.

Take this week as a new little chapter opening for you, which holds many possibilities and mysteries for the next two year period. If you have strong planetary or angular placements across the Virgo-Pisces axis, then this will be a significant week for you. You’re not quite there in the rich, transformative abyss of the eclipse yet, but you’re about to take that inevitable dive in.
