Date: 28 February – 6 March 2022

The first week of March is a bit of a mixed bag.  We have three independent threads weaving through our lives this week, all with different feels. This may leave you feeling a bit disjointed but overall, there’s a certain sense of magic, synchronicity and serendipity playing in our space.

On one hand, we have a watery New Moon in Pisces on 3 March which is conjoined by its ruler Jupiter and free-flowing Neptune, bringing an abundance of imagination, dreams, visions and creative flow. Jupiter is about to commence a new cycle with the Sun and downloads will be plenty, especially on 6 March. Jupiter has been in the beams of the Sun (since 14 Feb) where luck, hope and ease may have taken a backseat. This week will see your mojo slowly coming back, ready to start a new Jupiter year. The purifying fires of the Sun bring a renewal of vision, hope, perspective and insight into your outlook so use this spark to inspire your plans and rejuvenate your life force and enthusiasm behind them.

The second thread playing out in the background is the Mercury Saturn conjunction in Aquarius that also happens at the New Moon. The serious and sobering mindset of this aspect can bring a healthy balance of groundedness while the transcendent energies of the Piscean season is coming into play.  You could feel like you’re living a double life, embodying the symbol of the double-bodied fishes of the Piscean New Moon quite literally. Like these fishes, this could make you feel like you’re swimming in opposite directions, as the expansion of Jupiter is happening with the contraction of Saturn. And not to mention, we’re in the midst of the two Venus Mars conjunctions – one that happened on 17 February, and the next one at the end of this week. The sentiments of inner conflicts and polarities are dominating the skies at the moment. As we learnt with the last Venus Mars conjunction, the process of integrating the opposites to create a new pathway for the future, will be just as relevant this week. Use the two opposing forces of these Piscean/Aquarian aspects to continue expanding your understanding of the opposing forces within yourself, or with another, while you contract from the crystalised structures of your ego.

Before Mars and Venus make their next conjunction on 6 March, the pair moves through a conjunction with Pluto, indicating that there’s one deep chasm they need to cross before their union can be sanctified. As the planet of transformation, Pluto’s conjunction could look like a final test of trust, commitment, balance of power and respect. If you’re feeling underlying emotions that fit this bill, refer to 11 & 24 December when Venus was conjunct Pluto. These dates could be significant moments where needs and desires were challenged, bringing you to the current state you’re experiencing. However, this conjunction with Pluto offers you an opportunity to look deeply into the details of your inner and outer conflicts, and iron out any issues that you could have previously missed. Therefore, if any intensified feelings or situations emerge around 3 or 4 March, use them as gifts to help you get closer to that which is a better reflection of your truth.

Mars and Venus will make their final conjunction on 6 March, exactly the same day as the Jupiter cycle commencing. This could possibly be a time where you look back in years to come and acknowledge its significance. Due to the long 32 year cycle of the Mars Venus relationship, it’s likely we’re not going to really know what the exact goal is right now. But looking back in 10/20/30 year’s time, you’ll see that this is a moment of infusion where a creative spark emerged. And with the new Jupiter cycle boosting the flame on your behalf, combined with the far-reaching vision of the Pisces stellium and the meticulous attention of Mercury and Saturn, you’ll have three powerful parties working for you, even if it makes you feel scattered and messy.

I’m presenting a talk, The Sacred Union of Venus and Mars, at a free summit this week that you’re all invited to. I’ll be covering my interpretation of Venus and Mars through the study of geometric shapes, and sharing the discoveries of the Venus Mars Saros cycle.

I hope you’ll be able to join me in the Bridging Sky and Earth: Embodying the Star Wisdom,  a multi-day summit of inspiring talks and experiential practices with 27 visionary women leaders in the areas of astrology, spirituality and art. The summit is free to attend but registrations are necessary. Recordings will be available for those who can’t attend on the day.

Look forward to seeing you there!
