Following Venus: Venus-Moon Gate #4
On the 11th August 2021 (AEST) Venus will be making another conjunction with the waxing crescent moon for the fourth visible time since her evening star appearance in May. At this stage of her cycle, Venus is clearly seen in the evening – there’s no mistaking that big bright star high in the western sky.
In the myth of Inanna, this is the fourth gate that Inanna passes through in her ascension phase. Activating the heart chakra, this gate is connected to the principle of compassion. Inanna re-gains her breast plate and her divine right to rule from a heart-centred perspective. Imagine a leader that can govern with compassion, kindness, love and grace.
It’s no coincidence that as this Venus-Moon conjunction occurs, it will be directly opposing Neptune – a transpersonal planet symbolising compassion and unity – as if they’re all constellating to support us in finding compassion within ourselves and with others. This gate will also occur at the exact trine of Pluto, bringing depth and intensity to the process.
As the central chakra of the seven chakra system, the heart holds an integral function of the body. Biologically, it is the prime mover of our bodies, necessary to keep us alive. Psycho-spiritually, the heart chakra is our ability to find peace, to trust, have gratitude, to radiate and feel connected.
When the heart chakra is blocked, we can feel insecure, unloved, broken hearted, vulnerable and unable to receive love. When it is balanced, we can feel joy, love, confidence, connected and generous to share our love. Ruled by the air element, the heart chakra can be ignited by fresh air, exercise, breathwork and doing things that make us joyous. If you want to hear more, @mizchartreuse and I will be going live on IGTV on Tuesday 10 August, 11.15am (AEST) or Monday 9th August 9:15pm (EDT) – to explore this Venus Moon gate in more detail. Join us over at @mizchartreuse‘s page live or on the replay.
