On the 12th July, Venus and the waxing crescent Moon will come together in fiery Leo, very fitting for the activation of the Solar Plexus Chakra which also corresponds to the fire element. As this is the third time we will see Venus and Moon make their conjunction in the evening skies since her heliacal rise in May 2021, it marks the point of the Inanna myth as she makes her ascent from the underworld and passes the third gate of personal power.

At the same time, she will also be conjoining with fiery Mars, instigating the sacred union of a new Venus-Mars synodic cycle that will unfold over the next 23 months. This coming together of Venus and Mars at the gate of personal power can be symbolised by a new union or a renewing of vows, under the witness of the Moon. It could also look like a new cycle of creation being initiated, as indicated by the house where Leo is located in your natal chart. Whether it’s the birth of a new relationship or the renewal of an existing relationship situation, this special configuration will encourage us to be more empowered as we start over in this relationship cycle. The conjunction in Leo suggests that our personal will, ego consciousness and alignment with our core essence will be strong themes for this cycle as we reclaim our personal power.

The activation of the Solar Plexus Chakra also confirms this as it’s the point associated with demonstrating our will, assertiveness and self expression. An imbalance of this chakra point can show tendencies towards being overly manipulative and controlling, or, subjugating ourselves due to low self-esteem in the pursuit of our creative freedom.
