Join me in this lecture, Remediating the Solar Return Chart, at the Victorian Astrologers Association where we will explore ideas around shaping our fate for the current year.

There are many types of remediation available to help us address issues within a chart. The types of remediation will vary depending on your cultural beliefs, time, resources, accessibility and commitment.

Ultimately, when we employ some kind of chart remediation, what we’re doing is to try and improve our current situation; to try and find strategies or solutions to problems essentially. From elaborate planetary talismans to conscious awareness and mindfulness, remediation comes in many forms.

We often hear of people seeking remediations to overcome weaknesses in the natal chart or maintaining the strength of their best natal planets. But what about remediating the Solar Return chart? After all, according to 9th Century Persian Astrologer, Abu Mashar, the Solar Revolutions is the most changeable chart as there’s no cyclical pattern behind these ‘real time’ charts. Solar Return charts track incidental, ephemeral events that can be shaped by our reactions, choices and efforts. Unlike our natal charts which governs our lives more deterministically, the fate governed by our yearly Solar Return charts are ‘written in sand’ and therefore, able to be shaped with the right insight and guidance.

During this talk, we’ll be exploring the topics of remediation, fate, freewill and Solar Return techniques that can help us become more actively conscious of our yearly charts and intentions.
