Register now… “Know Thyself: Mercury’s Joy”
As Mercury slows down to station retrograde this week, I will be one of 30 astrologers and embodiment practitioners presenting at the Mercury Retrograde Alchemy Summit, a FREE summit produced to demystify this very misunderstood time in our modern day culture.
My talk, “Know Thyself: Mercury’s Joy” will explore the deeper significance of Mercury from the ancient doctrine of ‘planetary rejoicing’. This ancient schema was used as a way to give meaning to the house system in astrological charts.
In true Mercury retrograde style, I’ll be taking you back in time and space to investigate why Mercury “rejoices” in the first house. We’ll explore the essential nature of Mercury’s retrograde phases and what we can do with this symbolism in our lives.
As with many of my talks, I like to weave together ancient traditional theory (which can be dry to some people) with storytelling and imagery, along with mythology and alchemy. So come along and see how my convoluted mind weaves together planetary joys, the Egyptian Creation myth, the Temple of Apollo and the Delphic Oracle, the theory of essential dignities and the Emerald Tablet, all with the aim of conveying a deeper significance of Mercury Retrograde phases.
It is our hope that through this summit, you’ll come away with a deep understanding of Mercury Retrograde as a period of necessary rest and reflection, rather than what’s commonly mistaken as the cause of communication breakdowns, technical difficulties, brain for and many of life’s inconveniences.

I’m so lucky to have this platform to be able to present my views and teachings on Mercury, especially alongside some amazing astrologers that have personally had a huge influence on my astrological journey.
