This week (of 26th July 2020) Mars enters its shadow period. I’ve created a short video to explain what this phenomenon of a ‘shadow period’ is and what this could mean for you.

In brief, the symbology of Mars moving into its shadow suggests that we’re about to experience the more challenging ‘shadowy’ nature of Mars. That could look like anger, frustration, conflict, burn out, exhaustion, inflammations, abruptness, selfishness, overwhelm, stress and tension.

Up until now, we’ve experienced Mars in its more productive capacity – energetic, motivated and getting things done. Once Mars hits its shadow, challenging events, emotions or situations may be raised to our awareness seeking readjustment, reassessment or reconsideration which will be the key focus of the Mars Retrograde period (9th September – 18 October).

This is just one layer of interpretation of Mars’ cycle. There much more details we can look into such as the aspects that Mars makes to other planets as it travels through the degrees, its rulership by bounds as it moves through the five sections of Aries, the decans that Mars travels through, and on a personal note, where Mars will impact in your chart and the intensity of its impact on your life based on Mars being activated by timelord systems.
