By the end of this week, pretty much all of the transiting planets will be in one quadrant of your natal chart. This can show both positive attributes and difficulties in this sector of life as indicated by the houses of Aquarius, Pisces, Aries and Taurus. The great thing about this concentration of planets is that it allows you to really focus on matters of your life indicated by those houses. It will help you to create the intensity and drive that’s required to achieve your goals in this area.

On the other hand, the imbalance caused by such planetary alignments can lead you to feel under pressure. At times, you may find it difficult to manage so much happening. Perhaps you might also feel that you’re neglecting other areas of life as you’re simply too busy. A rush of planets through one quadrant of your birth chart can feel like there’s not enough hours in the day – at least for the area that it represents.

Use this diagram as a guide to understand the planetary activations for this week:

The Last Quarter Moon in Sagittarius (4 Mar), which starts this week off, will set an introspective tone. Despite feeling exhausted, you may be called to tidy up all the loose ends and bring things to completion. It’s best to opt for some reflection rather than action during this time as attempts to start anything this week might fizzle out as your own energy wanes. Draw on the philosophical qualities of the Sagittarian archer as you reorientate yourself towards the bigger picture vision. Anything else can be allowed to fall away from your field – you just don’t have any time or energy for it.

Mercury is coming back on board this week as it makes its Evening Helical Rise at the end of Pisces (8 Mar). With any hope, the past couple of weeks of mental exhaustion might have offered you a chance to surrender and get some much needed rest. I’ve found that I’ve needed to take naps in order to get through some of these days. Usually I would push through, but the call of a combust Mercury in a debilitated sign had other plans, which I eventually conceded. Looking forward to this week, Mercury’s Evening Rise is a powerful time for this planet of travel, communication and the mind. It signals the beginning of a three week period in which we can get back into what we were doing before this sleepy phase, but with much more wisdom and knowledge to support us. It’s also a good time for study, learning, teaching or mentoring. Often a new teacher or important book pops up at a significant evening rise of Mercury.

By the end of this week, things will shift. The Moon will be New in Pisces (10 Mar) and Mercury will enter Aries (10 Mar) – two initiatory impressions which will get your engines waking up. Mars will also square Uranus (10 Mar) on the same day which further confirms a rising impulse for action, especially if it involves an expression of your independence, agency, inner rebellious streak and your voice. Mars-Uranus is a volatile combination which can be used to energise projects that may be stagnant or oppressed. But watch for accidents or mishaps as the pair aren’t known for carefulness. At the very least, expect a very noisy end to the week.
