We welcome you back from your 42-day Venus Retrograde journey as Venus Stations Direct (4 Sep) this week and ready to fully immerse herself in her Morning Star phase for the next nine months. I hope the past 42 days have been a time of great reflections, realisations and reckoning especially related to the way you interact with others, your personal relationship needs, self values and possibly your financial or material assets. Venus won’t have another retrograde phase for another 18 months (around March/April 2025) and until then, you’ll be living out the values and intentions that you’ve encountered during the past 42-day Venus Retrograde period.

While Venus moves forward, Jupiter will be Stationing Retrograde (4 Sep) on the same day. Happening in the sign of Taurus, Jupiter’s retrograde motion here may reinforce last week’s direction change of Uranus in the same sign, as if to say, if you didn’t get around to shifting gears on any long term or stubbornly persistent issues of your Taurus house then, you’ll get another chance this week. Last week may have been the sudden initiation of some necessary change or radical reset, while this week could help to roll out the changes for the remainder of the year. As it turned out for me, last week I received in the post an electric fence system which I had purchased to help contain my runaway dog. As we started the training of using this system, it occurred to me that it was quite fitting this happened during a Uranus Station, given that Uranus rules electricity and freedom. In this case, my dog actually gained more freedom as he was on a lead outside previously, and it was through the use of an electric fence which gave him this!

Both Jupiter and Uranus will end up meeting in one of the highlight conjunctions of 2024, signifying the initiation of a great cycle of creativity, entrepreneurship, reprogramming and new lease on life that’s on its way to us. This week’s and last week’s retrograde of these two creative geniuses will be the important incubation phase of potential brilliance to come. Make sure you take the time to meditate on your future goals, no matter how big or out of reach they may seem. Implanting the thoughts now will give you more material to work with next year when the creative and out-of-the-box solutions potentially emerge during the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in April 2024. Make sure the focus of your thoughts is around the matters of your Taurus house as well – there’s big things happening here that you may not realise yet. It could be related to around May 2018 when Uranus first entered Taurus – a project commencing then that could be up for a big sudden climax in April 2024. If you’re unsure of where your Taurus house is, you may consider booking a Forecast or Express consultation.

September brings another auspicious initiation in that Mercury will be commencing its new 4-month cycle in its own sign of Virgo (6 Sep). If there was a greater time to initiate any new project or business venture especially related to communication, writing, numbers, data, information, study, research or other mercantile affairs, it would be this. The rulership and exaltation of Mercury in Virgo lends an extra level of sharpness, mental agility and clarity that’s above and beyond the usual Mercury Cazimi insights that usually flow in on this exact moment. Take note, that the following exact times (+/- 10 hours either side) is the window in which you should initiate something for the next 4-month period, or at least sit in meditation to receive strong downloads, insights and intentions. Writing, journaling or creative activities will also benefit from this moment, as well as asking for favours from superiors.

Trines to Jupiter will bookend the Mercury Cazimi moment. Jupiter trines Mercury (4 Sep) before the Cazimi while the Sun trines Jupiter (8 Sep) after the Cazimi suggesting a helpful and reflective ally during this week of initiating a goal. Although Jupiter will be retrograde, it is nevertheless, The Great Benefic and whilst it is stationary, we may feel a big dose of his visionary prowess during this week.

The Moon in Gemini in its Last Quarter Phase (6 Sep) at the time of the Mercury Cazimi shows added emotional insights that will align to the moment of this special initiation. Being in a sign that’s ruled by an auspicious Mercury is of great benefit. It suggests that this moment is fueled with a strong dynamic tension that can help fuse the soul’s intention with the divine will towards a potential materialisation or venture. It could offer the final last push towards something of your dreams and intentions as well as extra flair with communicating with and connecting to the people and networks that might offer you assistance.
