The big news this week is undoubtedly that Saturn is shifting into Pisces (7 Mar) and staying there until February 2026. You can find out more about this transit shift in my video interview with Spencer Michaud where we break down the archetypal, historical, social and personal observances of Saturn moving into Pisces. But for this week, you may feel some immediate impacts of this ingress especially if you have planetary and angular placements in the sign of Aquarius. If you do, the departure of Saturn from this sign may feel like a big burden has lifted off your shoulders, as if a persistent issue has resolved and the arduousness of it could no longer be bothering you.

If you’re currently under a Saturn timelord, this energetic shift could be felt quite obviously. Saturn will move from a fixed into a mutable sign, showing the move from a rigid, hard and stoic perspective to one that is more flexible and immersive. To find out what timelords are managing your year, book a forecast consultation .

In light of this, the first aspect of this week where Sun sextiles Uranus (6 Mar) makes a statement about the possibilities of freedom, liberation and excitement. A light at the end of an oppressive tunnel could be falling away, showing you glimpses of new ways of being.

The very same day when Saturn enters Pisces, we will also see a Full Moon in Virgo (7 Mar), at the opposite sign. The Moon illuminates some of the finer details that we may expect to see unfold over the Saturn in Pisces journey. Making a square to Mars, then opposition to Neptune right after the full culmination of its cycle, the Moon could suggest some of the challenges of Saturn moving away from its home sign and into foreign territory. The absence of plans, clarity and organisation may feel somewhat of a frustration as too much focus is spent on the dreaming and creative aspects. The lack of boundaries and proper management of things could see issues of infections and infiltrations rising. This Full Moon will be useful to connect to the finer details that can be gleaned through your intuitive insights about your focus areas. Find these details then build them into your dreams and ideals to help manifest their form and structure with more integrity.

The Mercury Morning Set (7 Mar) will also occur on the same day as Saturn moving into Pisces. With this phase of Mercury where it becomes invisible for the next 18 days, we’re potentially seeing the climax of issues unfolding around matters related to your Mercury-ruled houses in your personalised birth chart. At a general level however, Mercury rules the mind, communication, information and journeys. Therefore you may notice these areas becoming more confrontational, menacing, disturbing or powerless during this phase, as if you’re starting to see the whole iceberg for all of its magnificence and dangers at the same time. The setting of Mercury, as the name suggests, incorporates aspects of the hidden and unseen into the essence of Mercury at this time. Missing information, overlooked details, errors, omissions, misjudgements and misunderstandings could be cause for the climax of Mercurial issues arising. Like the Full Moon suggests, a focus into your intuition will serve your mental faculties more effectively while Mercury is journeying into the underworld. And during this process, watch for sudden revelations and insights that might appear to you when Mercury sextiles Uranus (12 Mar) later in the week.

Venus sextiles Mars (12 Mar) at the week’s end, may bring some temporary relief to heated issues, especially related to the Mars Retrograde  story that commenced at the end of October 2022. Venus breathes ease and comfort towards Mars helping to stimulate some attempts of reconciliation, union and harmony that has been much needed recently. Use this day to help bridge differences in thought that you may have experienced with others recently. While it might not fully resolve the issue, it will nevertheless, spread some good will and grace to the situation.
