This week starts off with a dreamy undertone, then ends with a more serious mindset. Coming off the back of a Leo Full Moon (5 Feb), a time when celebrations, socials and creative expressions thrive, you may find yourself recovering from a busy weekend as you slowly settle back into routine. Mercury will move into Aquarius (11 Feb), and bring more objectivity and discernment.
Mercury sextiling Neptune (6 Feb) shows a tendency towards a slightly foggy and unfocussed mind that probably prefers to rest in the imaginal and the liminal spaces. While this is not a great time for detailed work, it briefly offers you creative flair and realisations of new possibilities in whatever you’re doing. Often the best ideas or solutions come when you’re not trying at all. Let Mercury sextile Neptune offer you this kind of opportunity by giving yourself the space and intention for your thoughts to come together. What Mercury and Neptune won’t appreciate is a harsh, pressured environment. Expect mental overwhelm and irrational thoughts to flood in if you let this happen.
Venus sextiling Uranus (8 Feb) could make you feel as though routines are overrated. You crave excitement, something different or a distraction to pull you away from the hum-drum of the day. Sudden changes in your choices and unexpected turns in social and personal plans could emerge out of the blue, either leaving you with pleasant surprises or new perspectives that you needed to have. Go with the flow this week because you’re likely to benefit from the weird and wonderful that exist outside of the safe lane. Use this transit to experiment with new things in all Venusian matters – in love, creative projects, manifestation, food, plants, fertility, art and things of beauty.
Things start to get more serious when Mercury conjuncts Pluto (10 Feb) later in the week. This is your deep dive awaiting you. Think about where your Capricorn house is at around 28 degrees – are you undergoing some major thought explorations here? Have these topics been doing your head in? Is there still another stone to turn over and explore here? Mercury’s transit over Pluto could also agitate a sleeping giant in this area, stirring up the winds of (potentially) giant changes to come to fruition. Fears, paranoia, suspicion, anxiety and scepticism could be alarming side effects of this transit, but those that can embrace the journey could unearth the important keys for self development. Use this transit to research, explore and objectively experience the out-of-sight matters that you should know about.
