Transit dates

All dates are stated in Universal Time (UT 0:00hrs). Please adjust for your timezone.

  • 26 Nov   Mercury Stations Retrograde

  • 27 Nov   Sun trine Mars

  • 1 Dec      New Moon in Sagittarius

It’s a compact week with only three notable transits occurring. The main story for this week is the Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius (26 Nov) which will be moving in this backward illusion for the next 20 days. If you’ve found it difficult to focus your attention lately or have experienced weird things happening with computers, technologies, equipment, etc., it might have had something to do with Mercury moving over the degrees in which it will now return to. Sagittarius is not a friendly place for Mercury, hence this Mercury Retrograde period might cause some obvious issues to do with the mind, your communication, travels, transactions and details. Be careful of silly mistakes or saying things that you might regret later. A sluggish, distracted mind could be cause for many unfinished things around you. Slowing down physically and mentally is always a good way to protect yourself from potential harm caused by Mercury Retrograde. It’s a good time to take a mental break from the everyday tasks. Also try to focus on finishing past projects and tying up loose ends rather than to start anything new.

The Sun’s trine to Mars (27 Nov) brings a lot of energy to the mix. You may find it hard to slow yourself down with this vibrant pair in the inspiring fire signs, itching to create and take action. If you can be prepared and open to changes in your plans, a short adventure could be an option this week. Otherwise, find something active to occupy your mind with. Your Mercury Retrograde mind might appreciate a break from the mundane. The Sun Mars trine also highlights good leadership abilities which can be seen in many layers of life from the sporting fields to the workplace or home unit. You might be feeling more empowered this week in whatever you’re doing. Confidence goes a long way.

The New Moon in Sagittarius (1 Dec) ends this very active week in the archer’s sign. You may find throughout the week, moments of notable reflection about your future. Important to the Sagittarian sign is the meaning and value you hold in your life and this New Moon will likely urge you to think about them as you dream of future plans. The backward pull of the archer’s bow aptly illustrates Mercury’s Retrograde motion in this sign, as if it’s necessary to look behind, or go back over or to repeat something in order to make the forward momentum more meaningful, direct and on point.

With this in mind, I hope you can find greater meaning with every step forwards or backwards this week. Don’t be discouraged by delays or pivots, as they may lead you to what you were looking for in the first place. The light of the Moon is dim this week, so tap into your intuition to gain insight.

Thank you Shu, I always appreciate your forecast and advice. I have a huge stellium in Sagittarius so I am very familiar to its energy, and I have already been experiencing some issues with our softwares 😬 But it is part of our lives and retrogrades can be very insightful indeed. Have a great week!
