- 12 Sep Mercury sextile Mars
- 12 Sep Sun square Jupiter
- 15 Sep Venus trine Jupiter
If you found last week to be a bit shaky and unnerving with the intense outer planetary activity and the beginning of the eclipse portal, you might find pockets of solace this week.
While we’re within two weeks of an eclipse which means that we are energetically being pulled into a vortex of turbulence, technically the eclipse in Pisces next week is only a Partial Lunar Eclipse, meaning that it’s just a mini one which will grow into totality over the coming year. The purpose of this first eclipse is to simply observe what the coming two years might look like.
Mercury enters its domicile and exaltation sign of Virgo (9 Sep) this week, making this a great time to mentally regroup and get some clarity back. When Mercury is back in Virgo, expect sharpness of the mind, swiftness in your step, organisational rhythm, open channels of communication, clarity of thought and that ‘ship-shape’ kind of feeling.
Venus is still revelling in her home sign of Libra and this week she gets another boost. Venus will trine Jupiter (15 Sep) which is a joyful and uniting alignment that can really lift your spirits. What a much needed aspect in this time! Use this trine to get socially connected especially with networks that can bring more meaning, abundance and gratitude to you. The power of positivity and optimism can be harnessed if you pay attention to this transit. As well, the affirming nature of this pair means that you may have extra luck coming your way. It’s a good day to ask for what you need, whether from someone or the universal forces.
A square between the Sun and Jupiter (12 Sep) as well as a First Quarter Moon in Jupiter’s sign of Sagittarius (11 Sep) might reveal some important milestones right now. If you’re busy being buried in work, now is the week to stop to take a progress shot. Look back to see how things are forming for you right now, especially if there was something coinciding around 19 May.
Mercury’s sextile with Mars (12 Sep) is a mischievous pair at work but could be used constructively if you pay attention. Remember last week when I wrote about Mars’ oppressed state in the sign of Cancer? With Mercury’s sextile this week, this could help Mars speak up about something that it has been brooding about. If you need to get something off your chest, this could be a good week to do as it has the chance to be better received. Just don’t over-do it though – plan your escape route before your mouth says too much.
