Drawing to the end of August is a closing of the Leo Lunation Cycle which commenced at the beginning of the month. This week’s Third Quarter Moon in Gemini (26 Aug) sets the tone for you to consider the many shifts and changes happening around you. It calls for your flexibility in your way of being, especially through the agility of your mind. You may feel inclined to step away from that which troubles you, rather than to stay and fight. Again, this all happens in the busy Gemini region of your chart which has been receiving quite a lot of activity, speed, new challenges and possible opportunities. It’s no wonder that energy levels might be low with so much happening in the mental space. The best medicine could be a mental health day this week to avoid further brain stimulation and anxiety. Make some space to reflect on the activities that have taken place in August, especially in the areas related to where Gemini is located in your natal chart. What worked? What didn’t? What will you take forward with you? What efforts could you do without?

But luckily, the planet of the mind, Mercury, is Stationing Direct (29 Aug) shortly after this lunation. Though still sluggish and slow, this change of direction will help to mentally move you in the right direction. If the opportunity for change presents itself to you this week, it’s a good idea to consider them despite any hesitations you may have. Mercury in the fixed sign of Leo can be difficult to move, especially with pride and the fear of vulnerability creeping in. Remember to soften into the possibilities and don’t give yourself a hard time about changing your mind if you have to do so.

The beginning of September brings some welcome dignity shifts that will lift your spirits and put you back in control to some degree. This starts with Venus moving into Libra (29 Aug), its home sign, which could inspire you to embrace the gifts of society, culture, the arts and personal interactions throughout the most part of September. With Venus finally moving out of its difficult sign of Virgo this week, you may start to feel the burdens of work and duty pay off as you reward yourself with some rest, indulgence and time to enjoy the fruits of your hard work. Overall, Venus in Libra will bring a sense of grace and joy into the everyday flow of life which might have been missed over the past few weeks.

In addition to Venus’ return home, she also makes aspects to the three outer-personal planets this week – an opposition to Neptune and a Grand Trine Formation with Uranus and Pluto. This configuration is loaded with subtleties that you could be feeling around the collective environment enveloping you – feelings of intensity, dread, revelations or inspiration about the unknown, all of which could be transient thoughts or even, subconscious inklings which could one day lead to greater ideas or projects. The earth-based grand trine shows the potential for creation around matters related to land, soil, gardens, art, buildings, minerals, our physical bodies, and other earthy symbolisms. If you’ve got projects around these earth-based areas, this could be a good week to step outside the box and indulge into wonderful and creative expressions. Regardless of the outcome, the entire process could be one of rejuvenation, freedom and liberation for you internally. Venus’ encounter with the outer planets this week might not make any sense to you, but know that something is being infused into your energetic body that puts your physical self onto the path of the wyrd and wonderful ways of destiny.
