New Workshop: Business planning with the planets

I’m so excited to announce that I will be facilitating a workshop to teach business owners some valuable astrological techniques to time their business activities for greater results. If you’re an entrepreneur, solo operator, small business owner or ‘mumpreneur’, Timing Secrets: Astrology for Entrepreneurs is designed especially with you in mind.

Time is a cornerstone of astrology and many people have used astrology’s precise and auspicious timing abilities to their advantage. Some well known examples include the establishment of the City of Baghdad by its ruler Caliph Al-Mansur (714-775 AD), the work of John Gadbury on directing voyages to sea by merchants, mariners and adventure seamen (Nauticum Astrologicum, 1697) and Joan Quigley’s astrological advice to the Reagan White House.

The concept of time as most people now know it today, is a human construct to measure chronology. However, viewing time in relationship to space brings a quality or essence into the meaning of time. Through astrology, we can observe both the nature of any moment, as well as define exactly when this nature will manifest.

Applying this to a business sense, looking at the quality and chronology of time is particularly useful because it gives us the ability to launch activities – such as social media posts, emails, business deals, events , important transactions, etc.  – at times when the nature of the moment supports that of the activity.

For example, if you’re launching a social media campaign with the goal of growing an email list, you may consider posting your messages at times when the planet of growth and expansion, Jupiter, is the dominant quality. Similarly, if you’re looking to ‘phase out’ a client relationship because there is no longer a good fit, you could try working with Saturn, the planet of contractions, on a waning moon cycle.

During this workshop, I’ll be demonstrating a three-layered approach to choosing  times that will support various business activities. By the end of the workshop, I’m hopeful that you will leave with the ability to conduct basic elections for your personal business.

Perfect for beginners to astrology with no prior experience, this workshop will be a good foundation from which to explore the study of astrological elections – the art of choosing the right times – which incorporates more complex considerations for more advanced students.

Timing Secrets: Astrology for Entrepreneurs is a practical session where you will be able to use your own business activities for all the workshop excercises, and you will hopefully leave with a simple tactical business plan that is aligned to the cosmos.
