Speaking, teaching & partnership engagements
Interested in collaborating? Let’s explore how I can support your next course, webinar, podcast, or project—especially if it’s rooted in our shared commitment to preserving, elevating, and applying the ancient techniques of astrology.
Preserving astrology through education
The only way to make sure astrology can return to being a respected science is by educating society at all levels, from the serious student to the novice beginner. It has been an aspiration for me to teach astrology at a high, scholarly and practical level, based on the growing number of source texts becoming available in English translations.
I specialise in teaching beginner to intermediate-level astrology primarily based on, but not restricted to, techniques from the Hellenistic, Persian, Arabic and the later Medieval Latin periods. My teaching style is structured, combining a historical background, explanation of techniques and their sources, demonstrations of case examples and practical exercises to encourage students to consolidate the teachings. I strive to inspire and extend students towards their potential as astrologers, teachers, researchers or consultants.

Testimonials
“I just want to say, this was THE BEST astrology course I have taken. (and I have taken many!!) It altered the way I understand astrology in such a wonderful way because it was like learning a new language. Discovering traditional astrology, the whole house system, annual profections and time lords woke something up in me and it really simplified things, in a way. I have never participated so willingly in live classes (I almost always wait for the recording) I watched every class at least twice plus the FB Live Q&A’s. I took extensive notes and feel like I am energized to continue studying and learning.”
Roxanne Kennedy
“I love Shu’s teaching style. She gave a lot & made everything very easy to understand and totally digestible. She was very knowlegable, insightful, receptive, kind, relatable and organized. I also greatly appreciate her passion, clear communications, organizational skills and efficiency. It’s not always easy to feel connected to the presenters, let alone the other participants in a webinar, and there was a true sense of community in this experience which truly supported the learning. I really loved everything about it. The teachings expanded my mindand I am totally inspired to take what was learned and apply it in my practice.”
Shelley Bredeson
