Transit dates

All dates are stated in Universal Time (UT 0:00hrs). Please adjust for your timezone.

  • 4 Nov    Mars enters Leo
  • 4 Nov    Venus opposite Jupiter
  • 5 Nov    Sun trine Saturn
  • 9 Nov    First Quarter Moon in Aquarius
  • 10 Nov  Venus square Neptune

The November skies opened with a bang last week in the true intense essence of the Mars Pluto nature. This week, I suspect that things might move on quickly and we might get a little bit of respite.

In the past week, I’ve also recorded a full episode of the November skies with Callum Wilkinson from the Kepler College YouTube channel. If you’d like to hear the broader impacts of November, including a brief summary of each rising sign horoscopes, head over and check it out.

The Venus Jupiter opposition (4 nov) will be a temporary injection of optimism during the tumultuous energies this month. You may find yourself unapologetically indulging in some distractions that could pull you away from the pressures of life. Even if you’re not planning anything in particular, this transit might help you to take a break and ease off your work load, perhaps even being a little bit lazy with some things.

Venus will then square Neptune (10 Nov) by the end of the week, which will help keep you distracted, indulgent and tend towards laziness. Will this matter? Probably. Venus’ movements could be a tad negligent right now. There’s so much to do but rather than tackling things head on in Mars fashion, you might feel a great urge to procrastinate and put fun or indolence first. So this week, you might need to consciously organise yourself to include both work and rest into your schedule. This could be tricky to do, but both elements are important. You can’t keep going on at an unsustainable pace and you also can’t continue to avoid the growing mountain of tasks ahead of you. Try to make time for balance between the two this week. The Sun’s trine to Saturn (5 Nov) will go a long way to maintain some stability, balance and level-headedness during this week. It’s important to consider your best priorities for the long game under this supportive transit.

With Mars quick to move onto the next sign of Leo (4 Nov), it could feel as though any difficulties from the previous week are not going to be held onto. Even though Mars will retrograde and repeat this last week’s transit with Pluto in 2025, for the time being, its shift into a new territory can offer you a new outlook that can help you to make the most of any situation that arose last week. You might even find some inspiration or creative urges that may have risen from the tensions of last week.
