We open the week with a Third Quarter Moon in Scorpio (13 Feb) which is all about processing your inner world. Deep thoughts and emotions could be intense and conflicting, showing the complexities of bindings and attachments present in your life.

Venus conjunct Neptune (15 Feb) is the ultimate rose coloured glasses transit. It sees beauty and perfection in everything which can be a wonderful transit for art, music and creativity, especially given that Venus is in its most exalted sign. It’s also a time where you may truly feel big feelings of compassion, love and unity and therefore may be inspired to help others. You can also rely on Venus Neptune to bring out the hopeless romantic in you, impeccably timed for St. Valentine’s Day!

This is a good time to get into the flow, however you see fit, be it exercise, swimming, music, art, meditation, cooking or whatever your preferred ‘me-time’ activity is. Beautiful gatherings of meaningful connections may form and disperse temporarily today. While this watery combination appears soft and gentle, just like the ocean, there’s a powerful undercurrent of confusion, misunderstandings, overwhelm, subjectivity, disappointments, disillusions and irrationality that could creep in. Excessive indulgences could be a cause of regret later which might start to emerge with the Sun conjunct Saturn the very next day. Immerse in the inspiration of the day but remind yourself that nothing is permanent. The promise of dreams and ideals may reveal themselves as projections and illusions later. In other words, no big promises, decisions or commitments with this one – the gassy giant Neptune has no form. Reign it in and just enjoy the vibes for the sake of it – document it in some writing or capture it in a photo, then use it for future inspiration purposes.

However, Sun conjunct Saturn (16 Feb) could be the wet blanket over your inspirations. Saturn brings a heavy, serious tone which contradicts the brilliant and creative Sun, resulting in potential obstacles to your plans and psychological barriers to your otherwise positive outlook. Expectations, criticisms and harsh judgements could rise to your consciousness this week, especially focused on your future visions, your community as well as the house topics ruled by Aquarius, making you doubt yourself. You may like to allocate this day to have a serious think about your future – the long game is being highlighted and Saturn wants to ensure you can be personally responsible to endure the journey. The elderly, the forgotten, the homeless and those casted out of mainstream society may feature literally or archetypically this week too. According to ancient astro-meteorologists, Sun conjunct Saturn (16 Feb) is also known for bringing cold temperatures. So, pack an extra layer this week if you’re heading out.

As Pisces season (18 Feb)  starts with the Sun’s ingress into this sign, Mercury will be sextiling Jupiter (18 Feb). It seems that this week has dealt you with some inspiration of Venus-Neptune as well as the reality check of Saturn-Sun, now Mercury-Jupiter is here to conceptualise these polarities into more meaningful ideas that could potentially be used in the future. Jupiter’s fire is roaring right now, being in the choleric sign of Aries where it wants to take its big visions as far as it can while the iron is hot. Mercury offers a helping hand, possibly through technology, information, contacts, networks, eloquence, rationality, agility and detail. Your big ideas could feel like they’re being birthed….at least on paper anyway.

Venus sextile Pluto (19 Feb) – saucy, seductive and magnetising, this subtle transit could be cleverly employed to add the extra gravitas to any project or be ultra appealing to those around you. The powerful force of the divine feminine essence can be felt with Venus Pluto, resulting in a passive yet alluring attraction of your desires, so be careful of what you wish for. Powers of manifestation could be right on point like a strongly charged magnet that’s calibrated to your heart’s desires. But just like the magnet, there’s an equal force that repels just as strongly as it attracts. Likewise, the intense energy of the Venus Pluto sextile could be experienced by some to be intimidating, confronting and off-putting. Be conscious of where you may like to invest your time and resources towards as it may be appreciated by some, and detested by others.
